SRCF open again for the season

Unread post by KevinM » Thu Apr 07, 2022 1:03 pm

FYI,
For all that don't know or haven't heard yet the Shearwater RC Club, is opening soon for the season. All will be the same as before the pandemic hit us. Civilians will be allowed on DND property again (they were restricted for the last two years)I'm currently working hard to get an AGM arranged and a new key access list submitted to the military so all club members can draw the key. for more info just visit our forum at https://shearwaterflyers.proboards.com/

Great work Kevin. To overcome the military red tape and include us just mortal civilians is a miracle and is well appreciated. I dearly missed the past two years without the wonderful indoor flying facilities at Shearwater and look forward to next winters flying. All the best in getting back to normal.

Not only can civilians be members again but the gym will be open for indoor flying this fall. A lot of folks have missed that. Now I have to build up my indoor fleet.
