HEFA INDOOR FLYING SCHEDULE - Fall 2015/Winter2016

Today was awesome! Thank you, Vic, for organising the indoor flying for today. There was a very good turnout. Bill can confirm the #s. The highlight for me was flying my scratch-built piper cub with the other scratch-built L4 /piper cubs, (built using Vic's design plans). I built the Piper Cub in the winter HEFA Ground School building classes that Vic instructed 2 or 3 years ago, using his plans and help. It flies wonderfully.

After the flying ended, we found a sweater and a hoodie, which were left behind. If either of these are yours, you can find them at the Centre's lost and found, at the front desk.

It was a great day.

Big crowd today, 25 flyers in all plus special guest Al Eastman doing photos for the MAAC newsletter, I hope.

Seems a couple miserable weekends where we could not fly outdoors resulted in many people needing a "fix".

Thanks all, for the grand support. Sorry I got the Tim's location wrong upon leaving. It was the one closest to the "burnside bypass" that some of us went to afterwards.

Thanks guys (and Mary) for another great day in this perfect hobby of ours. I even got to fly some indoor FPV! Thanks John and Rick for that. Congrats to the club for putting on the best indoor of this season. Great job!

Great venue and great turn-out. Wish that I could have flown instead of just being able to drop by for <10 minutes on the way to my son's hockey game in Eastern Shore.

Thanks to everyone for coming yesterday, what a fantastic turn-out! I'm glad you enjoyed the session. Two and a half hours sure flew by (pardon the pun), didn't it? Thanks to Al for coming out to take pics and video - much appreciated, as always.

We've got a couple of irons in the fire for the next session sometime in December, with a potential change to a larger facility. As soon as we nail something down, I'll let everyone know.

Excellent HEFA Indoor report Al, and thanks for the promo on the Raffle; turns out we need all the support we can get, as ticket sales are lower than expected. (However this makes the odds of winning even greater for those already in..!)

Thanks again for your solid coverage of our HEFA events. We are getting primed for another Indoor on Saturday, Dec 6th.
