Re: HobbyCity/HobbyKing Delivery Times?
If you look at their R/C Blog entry of 2/03/2010 9:14:01 AM
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/blog.asp
"Hobbykings new 'warehouse B' lease just acquired. We will be moving heli and boat parts here first, the new warehouse will mean we can also begin increasing stock level and variety at a much faster rate. This will free up much needed room in warehouse A for an increase in kits and large boxed items. The new warehouse will allow us to double the number of picking and packing staff to reach the target of a 24hr ship-out timeframe."
My latest order took 5 days to ship via EMS. That is the longest time ever but it's still not bad and of course as stated above it will get better.

Re: HobbyCity/HobbyKing Delivery Times?
My February 20 order shipped March 2 (assume shipping delay caused by Chinese New Year), left Hong Kong March 6 by regular air mail, and has not yet made it to me. I have had other orders that waited a week or more to ship out. Hopefully the blog entry Rick noted means ship-out times will improve.

Well You all know that Canada Post raised postal rates this year. I have been lead to believe that the rate increase is for storing the mail prior to delivery. )

Well, sitting around staring at undelivered items is a very important part of our civil servant's agenda. Typical Hobby City stuff sits around for 5 days under the watchful guidance of our vigilant snivel cervantes. Just imagine what individual personal attention we get. and that does not come cheap!

I had a HK order ready tonight with about $28. in it and shipping would be $12..
When I reduced it to the two main items I needed..a small motor and esc for indoors, total of $17, the shipping became $2.99 (any order under $20.00)
Amazing..!

UPDATE: this order arrived today, March 22. That's 10 days to get it out the warehouse door, 4 more in Hong Kong, and 16 or so evidently sitting at Canada Post. Man.My February 20 order shipped March 2 (assume shipping delay caused by Chinese New Year), left Hong Kong March 6 by regular air mail, and has not yet made it to me. I have had other orders that waited a week or more to ship out. Hopefully the blog entry Rick noted means ship-out times will improve.
