5000 6s battery source
Where is a good place to get 5000mah 22.2v lipo batteries at a decent price?
Going to be starting a project and will need them. My regular place appears to have gone out of business.
Cheers,

I have looked at Amazon but not familiar with those brands, and haven't found people who use them. Cheap price, but not if they only last 5 flights or low output.
What brand did you try from Amazon?

Marc,
I haven't bought any CNHL batteries recently but I did purchase a few CNHL batteries in late 2020. These include two 4S 3700 batteries that I run in four planes (all 4 have Power 32 motors or equivalent) and two 4S 2200 batteries that I run in 3 planes (Rimfire 32 or Power 25 motors). None of these planes are "battery abusing" EDFs. These batteries are just finishing their third season of flying. I would guess they each have at least 50 cycles on them. The CNHL batteries aren't what I would consider "high end" batteries but I think I've had reasonable success with them.

Have you checked with MSC? Horizon battteries tend to be on the high side price-wise but are typically of good quality.

Re: 5000 6s battery source
I have been using CNHL batteries for a number of years and they are excellent. If you are trying to squeeze every bit of performance out of them, they may not be the ultimate performing battery, but I have a number of the 6s 5000mah “black” series and they are great. They also have sales often on them.
