RC car racing on July 17

Unread post by the-mailman » Tue Jul 06, 2021 1:53 pm

An RC car group I belong to, called The Tamiya Crew, is planning on holding a race event beginning at 9 am on July 17th at Shannon Park. It shouldn't interfere with flying as they will likely use one of the paved areas around the school, but I wanted everyone to be aware of their activity.

I never crash, I just create exciting ways to meet the ground. After all, take-offs are desirable, landings are inevitable.

Thanks for the info Bruce ......I was thinking that we could hold a massive "hotdog BBQ" say starting at 10:30 am with the dogs priced at $3.00 each. But I guess we would likely not get approval from the health department.

As long as there are no hotdogs left, they'd never know.
