Unread post by KevinM » Wed Feb 03, 2021 3:01 pm

For all those interested in military aircraft.......The Shearwater museum has acquired a CC144 Challenger aircraft (601 series) for static display in the Shearwater Air Park. Tail number 144615 is in flyable status and will be landing in Shearwater on FRIDAY 5 Feb AROUND +/- NOON. The base is closed to non military personnel but you can watch it arrive anywhere you can see the heliport Taxiway from off the Base.

Update from Museum:

There hasn’t been a decision made about departure yet from CYOW,(Ottawa) and the aircrew indicated that if they leave Ottawa, they may still call off the landing and return to their barn depending on runway conditions here. I had that info from the RAS team about 20 minutes ago.(10am)

So If anyone is planning on trying to see the plane land at Shearwater it will be a waiting game.
