Often plans show a servo hot melt glued into the foam structure. It is quick and easy, until it has to be removed to replace a broken gear.
A possible solution is the 3D printed servo mounting frame. These are just a frame with screw mounting holes. You glue the frame in the foam and then screw the servo into the frame
