As anyone tried Minwax Polycrilic? It is water based clear urethane. I believe it is available in satin and semi gloss.

water-based rocks - My Thunderbird 2 was done with Minwax Polycrylic/fiberglass cloth, Lepage white glue, and Lepage "pres-tite green" water-based contact cement during the winter in my kitchen - barely a smell
