looking to borrow a YEP ESC Programming card for a day.

Unread post by KevinM » Tue Aug 02, 2022 4:26 pm

Anyone have a programming card for a YEP ESC? I have an 40Amp YEP ESC that is in Heli mode (slow spool up on throttle) and can't change it to ACRO without a programming card. I tried the Transmitter Throttle method of programming to no avail. You have to have the programming card to change states. There is one available on Hobby King for $9.03 Cdn, I was going to buy but ....shipping is just under $52.00 ...NOPE!

Just need to borrow the card for a day.

Kevin...the word is "Yup, I have a Yep programming card..!" Do you have the instructions to use this card....they appear to be complicated enough that you better figure on having it for TWO days..don't worry the rental fee will be the same right up to five days..then it gets real pricey..!
For some unknown reason my instruction sheet is titled YGE ProgCard 2 - Programming Card.

I'll print off a copy for you.

Bill,

will you be around tomorrow? I have an X-Ray appt at 1pm at Cobiquid Hospital and will be able to drop by before or after the appt. I have downloaded a youtube video on the card and have watched it several times. Doesn't look too complicated. This is not the first ESC I've programmed but it is the first using a programming card. I've always used the throttle method.

Thanks so much, Let me know what time works for you.

Ok Kevin, maybe you should come by before your appt, say 12:15 since you never really know how long these appts take.

Thanks soo Much Bill,

Literally took me 2 minutes to program the ESC.

Works great now.

Thanks again. I'll phone you to let you know when I'm returning the programmer.
