Thanks for the post, Bill. I bought the soldering iron, and both sizes of the heat shrink wrap.... ahem... plus a few other things, although I can't remember what they were now.... lol

now I remember... Very fine, tiny chisels, and liquid electrical tape were the other items that I bought. I looked everywhere for that liquid tape and just happened to find it Princess Auto, but not at Canadian Tire, Home Depot, or Kent.

I was at PA today... they had "bright orange" toques, tiny precision metal clamps , tiny oval shaped magnets (10 for 2.69) and "Body Warmers" that produce heat for 20 hours (0.99 each)!!!!
