A while back these motors were produced by a California company as a sideline to their regular work of military items, etc..and of course they didn't sell that well due to price maybe, and eventually showed up at HobbyKing where I bought one of the small ones for indoor flying. It has been a good motor.
The link below is to a company that now sells the motors at 66% off...a $30. motor is now a $10. motor. The catch is that they are only shipping within the US.
Today I placed an order for four motors with delivery to my nephew in Florida..($6.00) who will reship to me.
They also sell a wicked EDF motor and fan combo unit that is balanced and real purdy...now only $59.
The only drawback is that they seem to be amp hogs in the 100 amp range.

Re: Hoffman Magnetics Motors
Nice motor. Funny, a company called Hobby International only ships within the US. Must mean that they ship to all American states
