Picked up a couple of "Blue Lipo" brand packs from Hobbypartz for $30. each + a shipping rate of $5.00 each.
These packs were 5S 4000mah with a 30C rating and come with 12 ga. silicone wire leads with the EC3 connector.

At 15C (60 amp) these should provide close to 1200 watts when fully charged, without too much strain on the pack.

Seemed like a fair price for a large pack. http://www.hobbypartz.com/83p-4000mah-5s1p-185-30c.html

Got them to throw in 3 little packs...single cell (3.7vt) 250mah, 15C. Should keep the little indoor stuff in the air longer.

Shipping was good..10 days from CA...

This place is a good alternative to HK for batteries. The prices are about the same and the shipping can be a little quicker. I have some of their Sky Lipo brand in small sizes.

I have had good luck with them as well, good prices and flat rate shipping and good quality lipos. Most reviews of the Blue, Sky, and Gens Ace are typically good.

I have had the Blue, Sky and Gens Ace lipos and I really like the Sky lipos the most. The Blue lipo brand tended not to give too many cycles, but I was using them in my helis and I am pretty hard on them. I really like Hobbypartz's shipping charges, and you get your stuff pretty quickly. Good luck with them Bill.
