Two great aircraft at 2 great prices but in two different locations. Both look great and all reviews indicate great and docile flyers

Hobby King T-34 under $50.00 - http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/stor ... oduct=5286
t-34.jpg
Plane specs - Wingspan of almost 35 inch, roughly 1.25 lbs and all made out of gorgeous balsa. Good to great reviews from HK. Only negative comments is that it is almost impossible to get it as it does not stay in stock long.

I just recently received aircraft and it came in one medium box (larger sides of the box were protected by taped outer carton shell). Looking inside the box, covering looks outstanding! Engine, prop, esc, servos and receiver have to be acquired seperately. Still $50.00 is great price for that type of quality. I intend adding 1-2 aircrew members and perhaps flaps but that may be more difficult due to aileron servo layout. Now I have to wait till I come back from holidays to put it together *!^$^%%^_%^

Dynam T-28 w retracts under $120.00 from Nitroplanes - http://www.nitroplanes.com/60a-dy8940-t28-red-arf.html
t-28.jpg
Plane specs - 50" wingspan, weights 3 lbs, includes everything but radio, battery and receiver. Made of EPO. Even includes retracts - all for under $120.00. Did I mention it was also Flap ready????

Plane came in a two boxes (exterior box as protection). Inside wing and tail feathers were in another protective box. All the pieces look great. Only negative so far w Nitroplanes was shipping costs - limited to USPS and I ended up paying $79.00 while actual mailing cost was $34.00 - I guess you're paying for outer box and processing/wrapping. Despite this, the good news is I got it quick and the declared value was only $39.00 which means no duties or taxes.

So, all in all, I ended up with a T-28 which is slightly larger than the PZ T-28 (50 vs 44 inch WS, 39 vs 36 in length), with retracts and flaps (capable) and all under $175.00 Cdn compared to PZ T-28 (no retracts but Flap capable) for $180.00 + tax ($207.00). Now the question........will it work with current wheels and retracts on our grass field? Again I'll to wait till I come back from holidays to put it together *!^$^%%^_%^

I took a chance despite bad Nitroplane reviews, but if this plane flies as good as it looks - whohoooo!!!

PS: No more planes for me....well....maybe Christmas......honey.....that grey Nitroplane Corsair would be a nice gift ;-)
