This "group pricing" thing is catching on.

Last weekend I came upon a deal at www.peakmodel.com

First off they were giving free shipping on ARF's to both the US and Canada.

Then they were selling their 57 inch w/s Extra..reg $269. for $219.00 if you got in on "the group".

I sent an email asking if this was still open...answer came right back..Yes, but be quick as they were shipping 14 models on July 4th which was in three days. I sent a Paypal and on July 6th received a tracking # that can be checked through EMS.

Now today I see another offer from a different firm that sells large foamy jets with 90mm fan units.....the offer is to buy five for $597. which brings each one in at around $119.40 + shipping. These suckers range about 5 feet long, take 5S packs, and weigh over 6 pounds. They will even "drop ship" each model to it's respective address.

So it shows a new trend....multi-pac ....just like the Shopping Channel..!

They give a New Zealand company address, but they only list Brushed ESC. Is the shipping from New Zealand, China or the US?

Could be disconcerting to deal with a company that cannot tell the difference between a Brushed and Brushless ESC or does not proof their own web content.......... If they cannot get their web content correct, what are the models like? They only list Brushless ESC when you go to the category Brushed ESC.

Big planes. Mostly Gas in the 1/4 and 1/3 scale TOC types.

B-i-g box arrived today...9 days after leaving China..! Apparently FREE shipping via EMS is fast shipping..!

Take a look at this shipping box..the wall thickness of the cardboard is 5/8 inch...or 15 mm..!
I have never seen a cardboard box this thick.
There was no inner box....the items were wrapped in white foam sheets and secured with tape to the inside of the box.

It's a biggee..largest wings I've owned to date..!

Some carbon fiber rods extend the length of the fuselage...cf landing gear, and wing rod.

Some areas that require a bit of strengthening, but overall I'm pleased.
