yes, I've been very pleased with it. Have had it for three or four years and there have been two major upgrades since I bought it and numerous models added. all have been free.

also look for a number of new planes to come as soon as horizon get things in stock. note at horizon they show the big e-flite twin as one of the planes. that is not currently in phoenix and I look forward to it and others to come soon. they just added the blade MSR heli and the parkzone corsair a couple of weeks ago and just two days ago the e-flite 4-site and vibe 500 heli.

once you have the program loaded it automatically checks the website and downloads any new aircraft/fields in the background as you run the sim. neat.

You can order this program direct from the UK for the following...

http://www.ekmpowershop4.com/ekmps/shop ... RT&ECD=925

Note that this price includes an "adaptor" for a DX5e radio and shipping. There are several "adaptors" you can choose. Each one has a different price.

Yup..that's a good source for Adapters to fit radios to other sims as well...thanks, Murray!

We have hijacked this thread and got off topic from "the cheap simulator"..so if we want to discuss the Phoenix sim further we better open a thread on it. I sure like the idea of it updating itself automaticly, and with Horizon pushing it....the war is on with Great Planes who push RealFlight.

HiFlight in Edmonton are selling Phoenix in Canada as well.

'nuff said..
go to this thread for Phoenix Sim talk..

I received my E_Sky FMS today and spent about 2 hours trying to set up the controller. Made some headway, but my elevators are still backwards, even selecting the INV box one time and de-selecting it. Even with everything zeroed in the calibration setup I still have drifting.

I'll play around with it for a while longer, maybe till the weekend, and if no progress then I'll look at returning it, and maybe spend the money for a better quality one, hoping there are no issues.

Off to try again.

Rob
