I know I am always doing the following but, I do it out of "love" :D and not malise, for my fellow club members.

If you check this link (RCwings) you will find that the Canadian price for the Stearman PT-17 15e ARF (at least, I did not check any others) has been lower that the "so called" "reduced from price" that Horizon Hobby is showing... and their prices are in US dollars (I think?).

http://www.rcwings.com/store/index.php? ... =&x=26&y=6

Oh, and the Sukhoi SU-26m 480 ARF went up in price on the HH site!

And one more "Oh", If you buy from Horizon Hobby, make sure to add postage and handling... that's more than an Oh... that's a big Oh, Oh!!!

Disclaimer: I do not get any discounts or other considerations from RCWings.com. I simply find that, all things considered, you can't beat their prices and convenience of location. JMHO though!

Guys, my purpose of posting the news about the reduced prices from HH is because HH is the supplier to Great Hobbies and MSC in the local area and no doubt RCWW down the road.

Please don't shoot the messenger..!

Now after posting this news I did go to the GH site and yes the Canadian price was not that far away from the reduced HH price however I would suspect that we will see a few more dollars come off the prices here.

I was not advocating ordering from the US....have been down THAT road..!

If you guys see a low Horizon price at one of their distributors, don't talk too loudly about it. I read some stuff in the spring where a distributor lost his distributorship because he was selling below Horizon's retail list price. I guess they are serious about min. price rules.

Actually, Horizon Hobby has very reasonable shipping prices. The cost for shipping my Easy Glider Pro to Canada would have been only $16, had they charged me shipping. They are shipping me a Multiplex XENO wing when they become available, and if I recall, the shipping cost was going to be about $13.... although, I think they forgot to charge me shipping. BTW, the only reason I bought the XENO from them is because I had a $50 credit with HH. My XENO wing should be here by early November. :)
