Four days left in the campaign .........$290,043 USD raised by 1760 backers...!

The push will be on to crack $300 G's which would be 50% more than the original request. This increased donation will see some additional features bear fruit much sooner.

Here's an UPDATE ....the new 120 acre facility that will be the future home of "Flite-Test" will be known as "EDGEWATER AIRPARK" and those of us who made a small donation to the fundraiser received a 9 inch square box last week that felt like it contained only air!
However, upon opening, the box contained a nice black baseball type hat with the Edgewater Airpark logo along with a medallion indicating that we are now members of the "Founders Club". As well we get our name engraved on the entrance wall.

On June 30th, 2018 they held their official opening, and this video will give some idea of the size of the place.

It will be interesting to watch their future progress.

Feedback from the "openhouse event" is all good. Found this comment on another site. And check out the attached pictures..!

We just got home from the open house. Great facility. Met Big Josh and a few other from the crew. Josh was big on thanking us but, it's us who owe him a big thanks. I didn't get to say that while there. So I really hope this all works as planned or better.

There is so much potential. Driving around in a golf cart gave us a true appreciation for the scope of this project. We were amazed. The runways(fairways) are massive. People set up under the shade of trees and flew in comfort despite the heat. It was a beautiful day for flying. I had a motor mount failure so my flying was kept short.

The restaurant serves a very good meal for a very fair price. Burgers were spot on. Kids have options too.

As we were leaving a real plane buzzed Edgewater and popped smoke over us. Pretty cool way to leave.

Can't wait to go back!
Chris

Today I received an "update" on the progress of EDGEWATER AIRPARK in Ohio from the guys at Flite-Test. They sure are having fun with their new enterprise.
