Electric indoor flying with Throttle control...look at Richard's hands. He has a transmitter in one !!
The secret of flight is to aim at the ground and MISS

That's pretty cool. I tried that once with my Cox Fokker D7 when I was ten and it made me so dizzy.

I never crash, I just create exciting ways to meet the ground. After all, take-offs are desirable, landings are inevitable.

A great boost to realistic model airplane flying by Richard.
During the 50's and 60's I flew Control line competitively, mostly team race and combat. During the 80's we flew indoor round-the pole electric models in Dartmouth with motor speed controlled from outside the circle with wire leads to the central pylon. However this was the first time I have seen actual in-person of indoor electric Control Line from within the circle.
A big WELL Done to Richard and I hope this catches on globally.
The hobby is about model aircraft and this includes a large percentage of models which are NOT R/C. A large percentage of "Johnnie-come- latelys" and "Buy-em-and-fly-ems" have no concept of the true spirit of aerodynamics and what makes an aircraft fly. It is time to broaden your scope and take in the whole scene, or at least be aware of it and appreciate the continuing presence of non RC flying. The current MAAC board is trying their best to eliminate all flying except RC.
