Bluenose is taking shape. Just have to install Radio gear. ESC Turnigy 6 amp, FrSky micro receiver and Turnigy 2211-2300kV (15 gm) motor (same as in the Butterfly). I think a 10 gm motor would be ideal for indoor, but I like the larger motor for outdoor flying. Searched the pile of modelling gear
but could not find the preferred 4 gm servos so may have to fit 9 gm ones.
I'm not completely satisfied with the Metallic Micafilm. The CA glue bleached the blue colour to silver where it contacted the carbon. in addition ended up with some wrinkles in the central section of the wing, which full iron heat would not remove. Expected problem of heat softening the tightly bent carbon and snapping did not occur as long as I kept the iron from contacting the carbon.

Great color combos John ....vivid..
I have bought small servos from http://www.PorcupineRC.com (Emax servos either 2.3 oz or 4.3oz) and they work well. It's also what the Flite-Test guys use.
