I know I am very late posting but is the indoor open to visiters who want to come in and watch and check it out?

A big "thanks" to the fifteen flyers that came out last evening to our first indoor flying session of the 2011-2012 season.
Judging from the amount of laughter and plain ole commaraderie that took place over the three hours....this one went into the books as a big success.
Already I'm making plans to finish up a 20 inch "Nutball' I started last year...and how about modding a Pizza Box Flyer so that an 11" slow fly prop could be used for supreme hovering thrust....ah, so many ideas..!
I flew the Vapor that I bought from Murray awhile back and it was a hoot...you can set the Tx down, go for a quick coffee and it will be still flying circles when you return..! Well...perhaps I stretched that a tad..! But those Vapors and Embers are sure a blast indoors and everyone should try one at least once...you'll be hooked..!
Next session in two weeks, on Nov 19th....6 to 9pm..PRCC..come on out..!
Later Edit...Wow..! check this out Karl..!

That's awesome, Bill! You should build one. I really enjoyed the landing... I wonder what the all up weight is.

Another great turnout last night as 18 flyers and two non flyers came out to participate and witness the excitement of indoor flying..!
For six of these flyers it was their first session of this Fall season, so it's nice to see that it's not the "same ole crowd" sort of thing.
My apologies to JW for running my Nutball into his pit area....glad there was no material damage, just some shaken nerves.
We exited the building by 9 sharp this time as requested by management. Last time we kinda ran over by 15 minutes. That was a No No..
Next session will be Nov 26th,,,same time, 6 to 9pm.

Session three of the 2011 HEFA Fall Indoor Flying program will go Saturday evening, Nov 26th...at the PRCC from 6 to 9 pm.
A reminder that we should not drag the recent snow laden ground cover into the gym this week ...be prepared to go in sock feet or bring indoor footwear with you.
Looking forward to another action packed evening...if you want to discuss format changes...seek out a Director and air your suggestions.
I'm wondering if "hovering" might be a class in which we could combine "helis" with "3d foamys"...both of these usually do not require the entire gym at once...just a thought..!
Here's a link to Vic's "maiden of the little Pup" last week..

..hope to see you there,

Re: INDOOR FLYING - NOV, DEC, 2011 - PRCC
Small turnout of six flyers last night...which only supports my theory that weekly indoor sessions are a bit too much...every two weeks seems to be more popular.
(..but then saboo has a theory..but Nah, can't be that..!)
We do have three more consecutive bookings for the first three Saturday evenings in December....then we can reasess our future bookings.

I can't speak for others, but my absence on Saturday had nothing to do with Christmas. I'm seriously considering not attending any more sessions unless serious changes are made.
That's all I have to say.
