possible indoor venue...
Hi Everyone,
I would like to offer my shop for indoor flying if people think it might be suitable.
I was flying the micro Champ in it this morning and although it is a bit challenging, it is possible.
Helicpoter flying or smaller planes like the vapour would be fine i think.
The shop is 30000 Ftsq has a 21 foot ceiling, but there are columns every 30 feet.
Anyway, i just though it wouldn't hurt to offer it....

Fantastic offer "Metal"......
The columns would prove an interesting obstacle but totally doable. I suspect your shop is not a bare open area but filled with equipment ?
Do you have any photos of the area

Hi Steve,
The shop is of course full of stuff as we build luxury yachts...however there are large open areas and it could prove fun to fly around the boats...no worries about hitting anything, everyhting in here is harder than an indoor plane!

Hi Steve,
Sorry, the shop is actually in Dartmouth on Maitland St.
Maitland st is across from Tim Hortons on the bottom of Portland st.

Hi Brian,
30,000 sq feet with a 21' high ceiling and columns every 30', sounds great to me for a place to fly heli's and smaller planes.... maybe even have some ember pylon racing..lol If it's not too much trouble, would you mind posting a picture of the space, Brian?
Thanks,
Andrew
