It has been a very interesting flying season all summer and fall at Shearwater due to the generosity of the Shearwater Club.
There have been a number of us flying weekly and now that winter is coming we expect to see a good turnout.
Richard Giles has been experimenting with motor controlled steering and altitude control on his foamies with no vertical fin or movable control surfaces. Not only that but he is flying an indoor electric Control Line Model ( a totally new development in the hobby). Only rc control is throttle with which he can control hovering. Here's a video of his performance.

See you all Sunday mornings 9am to noon.
