Excellent information, and with anything thats to be done properly, its common since . I have lots of reading to do, and for myself,I want to thank you for the research youve done, to bring all this info into one forum so theres no searching , thanks this is a great way to learn.

This is a great tip from "Lawndart" Dave ...when you are trying to remove the enamel coating on motor wire so you can resolder the wire.

"Heat the end of the wire with your soldering iron directly on top of an ASA tablet. The tablet will start to turn to an acidic brown gel, taking off the varnish. After this treatment solder sticks just fine. Just don't inhale."

Wish I knew about the aspirin trick last week. Took me ages to scrap / sand the damn stuff off the motor leads. Have to give that a try the next time.

Here is a very interesting site for electric motor lovers...in that there's a wealth of info regarding thrust figures with various prop sizes for each motor size.
I cannot comment on the performance or quality of the product as I have not used any of these motors.......yet..!

Here is a tip with some humour....but on the practical side, it could save you a repair..!

When transporting a plane, there is a need sometimes for wheel chocks to prevent the model from rolling around and possibly striping a servo on the rudder or stab, by bumping into something.

I got my solution from watching how Tom B did this to his model.

My chocks are size "3" and were marked down on the Target Clearance rack from $19.99 to $5.99 a pair..!
