3D printer files...

Unread post by retiredVTT » Sat May 04, 2019 3:23 pm

Was not sure where to post this info....maybe we need a new Forum category. For now though, I'll post it here..

With different members getting into the marvelous world of 3D Printing I came across the files required to print replacement "air inlets" for the Super Scorpion 70mm EDF that I have. The foam inlets are subject to damage upon belly landing this bird. I'm on my second fuselage and have reinforced the inlets with 'glas cloth and WBPU'..

If anyone takes a crack at making these, let me know, I would be prepared to compensate you for your work..!

Files for printing Scorpion Inlets are here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1650704

Bill,
I recommend Eurekatec in Lower Sackville: https://www.facebook.com/eureka3dprinting
He can get you the strength you need. FYI, each intake could take 4 to 6 hr to print, weight 30 to 40 g, depending on the material.
