Hi folks,
The Lawrencetown Slope has a nicely fresh mowed area for your chairs, your models, your snacks and lunch, and for standing closer to the slope... away from the 4 trillion mosquitoes that seem to hide in the taller grass, waiting for slope soaring pilots. Hopefully, this will give you a better chance of avoiding the higher grass, (not saying there are any ticks there, but this might improve our odds of not catching any.) Just don't fall over the edge! The opening to the path from the parking lot, as well as the entire path, has been mowed wider, too, so as to avoid weeds and grass. The mowed area is big enough to land in.. <ahem>... sometimes. The traditional landing area has not been mowed.... yet... Maybe another attempt at an informal slope fest?
Enjoy! .. but do be mindful of the edge.
Lawrencetown Slope has partially mowed clearing now...
