Was shocked to see former HEFA member and local musician "Asif" on the 6pm local news, still in hospital, but recovering from Covid19.
Really pleased to see that he is on the mend and will soon be going home.

Yeah; I saw him on FB where he posted a video about a week and 1/2 ago.
I wasn't aware (until his vid) that healthcare workers were not first in line for vaccinations. An eye opener for sure.
Hopefully he is up to 100% soon.

Hey Kevin... I also saw the video. Asif's daughter is a classmate of my son and it seems that COVID ran through the entire family. Asif's wife is a Doctor and (as I understand it) had received one shot of vaccine but that same opportunity was not provided to members of the family.
That is not unlike my sister - a pharmacist... she received the vaccine but her family did not. The concern is bringing it home.
I understand that Asif is out of ICU now which is great.
