Hey Guys, here's the early call for the event this weekend.
Saturday is not shaping up to provide good sloping conditions. The wind forecasts I can see indicate a moderate easterly to southeasterly wind. Not a good direction for Lawrencetown.
Sunday looks a bit more promising as the light winds are forecast to veer from southeast in the morning to more southerly, but still light, in the afternoon. If the sun is out and it gets warm, there's a good chance a seabreeze will develop. That would be a good thing.
Nothing is cast in stone, as I'm sure you know, when it comes to Maritime weather. Please standby for a better update tomorrow.
Thanks,
Vic

Re: Lawrencetown Slope Fest 20019
Slope Fest is cancelled for this weekend due to unfavourable winds.
It will hopefully be resurrected for a weekend in late September instead.
Please stay tuned.
