Very nice presentation of our field.
As much as I moan about never wanting to take any more pictures at Shannon, I have never been lucky enough capture it with sailboats in the pictures.

Oops, John! I changed the picture. Here is the one that you're referring to. Actually, I thought I got this one from you!... LOL It says it was taken with a Pentax Optio s10, and I don't own one. If you didn't take it, then I'm not sure how I ended up with it. It is a very nice picture, none the less.

Andrew:
I do have a Pentax Optio S10 and although I don't remember the photo, it was likely mine.
As of today, I have bought another one- factory refurbished from Carsand Mosher at $100. Although everyone raved about the S10 and posted great stuff, my original did not produce as clear an image as I would have liked as I think it had infinity focus problems. Jim Haliburton is getting good shots from the Pentax Optio S12. They are light weight and work well with the Prism infra Red trigger.
This weekend I was in Bear River at a friend's house and did some aerial shots over her in-progress house construction site with the Pentax S10, as I did not want to use the expensive Lumix LX3 on the limited space dusty landing area.
The shots were in the acceptable range but nothing in quality compared with the Lumix shots I got over Annapolis Royal later in the day.

The most important asset to our hobby is the encouraging of the youngsters - long may they revel in the affliction of model airplane flying - may they never recover! The hobby is the most stabilizing control you will ever have in your life.
