July 2022 MAAC newsletter

Unread post by astroflyer » Tue Jul 05, 2022 11:21 pm

Gents, I have just uploaded the July 2022 MAAC newsletter.

There is a ton of flying happening in the zone at the moment after the Covid restrictions and the result is the largest newsletter I have ever done. It is almost 21 megs in size. Chances are your club is featured here this month. Enjoy!

You can download it here: https://www.asrcm.ns.ca/newsletters/202 ... letter.pdf

What a marvelous presentation of the current active flying situation in Atlantic Canada. It seems that after past couple of years we have had a resurgence of activity as never before. Al Eastman has done a fantastic job of cataloguing this activity. I counted more than 170 very excellent model photos and when you consider Al's work in editing and compiling this presentation, we owe him a big thanks for his efforts.
It is refreshing to see the input from the various previously behind the scenes clubs and shows how diverse the model types and widespread the interest in model aviation is in Atlantic Canada. Well Done!!

Thank you gentlemen for the kind comments. This last one was indeed a bit of an effort. It would be less so if I didn't procrastinate so much and work on it as material materializes. lol I have tried to do this each month but mostly it has been unsuccessful. lol
