Unread post by astroflyer » Tue Mar 02, 2021 9:05 am

Gents, I have just uploaded the March 2021 MAAC newsletter. There is quite a bit of building and activity happening throughout our zone and you can read about it here:

Thanks Al....! Missing seeing YOUR flying activities though.... That Mavic should be able to support some fun too, right?

Thank you for another inclusion of my Introduction!
I've got to get a photo of that thing published in the magazine. Then I will truly have made it big!

Yes, send it off to Keith. I am sure he'd be interested. Include an article if you can and two or three photos. You might be surprised what would happen.

Oh, and Brian I had the mini out today at our field photographing the land clearing project that is going on all around us. It re-affirmed my thoughts of winter flying. lol Just kidding, it wasn't too cold. Minus 2 and quite windy. I was surprised the mini never even whimpered in that wind.

The stills are screen grabs from the 4k video and downsized drastically for the forum. The screen grabs from 4K are far superior to the DJI raw and .jpg results. But not equal to my Sony stuff sadly.

Looking good Al....! Is the road passable with a car? Spring is coming.......!!!

I am surprised that a video capture would be better than a JPG or RAW image. Interesting....
