Dear MAAC members.

The Charlottetown Radio Control Flying Club would like to cordially invite you to our 50th Birthday Party Fun Fly and Barbeque held August 11th at the club field.

Our club was started in 1962 under the name the "Charlottetown Model Airplane Club" by several individuals who were interested in building and flying model airplanes, primarily control line and free flight. Although much has changed as far as technology in those 50 years the premise of sharing the love of aviation through model flying has not.

Please feel free to bring your family and friends to watch the open flying taking place from 10am till 5pm. A lawn chair and sunscreen is all they need to come and enjoy the day with us. To help celebrate a barbeque, refreshments and Birthday cake will be served around noon.

This is a MAAC sanctioned event so all Pilots must show proof of MAAC or AMA insurance and a $10 landing fee enters them into the prize draws.

Rain date will be August 12th. Feel free to contact me or check the club website for more information.

Thanks.

Gary Stephen
