ASRCM - Saturday Nov 11, 2023

The wind doesn't look too bad for tomorrow but it will definitely be cool. I'm going to head up to the ASRCM field for a few flights in the morning.

Hopefully the road up the hill to the field has improved since last Sunday.

Very quiet morning at the field today. Unfortunately the road up the hill to the field wasn't much better than last week, maybe part of it had improved but a couple of spots were very slick. Since I wasn't sure if I'd be the only one up to the field today I decided to not risk getting stuck and ended up carrying a couple of planes the short distance up the hill to the field.

The wind was perfect and the temperature not too bad but the field is wet. I didn't think it could get any soggier than last week but I was wrong! On a positive note if this keeps up and the field keeps getting wetter we should be able to hold a float fly in a few weeks, maybe even an ice fly next month ;)

You would think the field would drain better since it's at the top of a hill.
