Another great weekend with HEFA.....!
Saturday was supposed to be rainy and turn-out was roughly a dozen (or so) members. I was not at SP but I hear that the rain stayed away and that there was lots of fun to be had by those participating in the fun.
Sunday was great. Sunny. Light winds. Good turn-out. Lots of and lots of flying. Fun times for sure.
I wanted to remind our membership to only fly within our established and approved boundaries at SP. These are listed on the MAAC site at the following URL (https://secure.maac.ca/wcm-docs/airfiel ... SP_Map.png) and copied below. We are not permitted to be flying over the school and need to make sure that we are keeping our activities contained in-front of and relatively close to the flight line. It is up to all of us to kindly remind our flying buddies of this on the flight line. It is the following of these rules that allows us to continue flying at SP. We recognize that judging actual distances and locations can be a challenge but let's do what we can to follow these requirements. Thank you everyone for your support in this matter. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
Next weekend is the long weekend.... hopefully some more great flying!!!
