Weekend - June 18/19, 2022

Saturday… what a day! Smaller group at SP but lots of fun. Nice to welcome Michael and Carolyn to HEFA and with a few introductory flights on the Apprentice. They both did very well, especially considering the more challenging windy conditions present later in the morning. Way to go!

Nice , too, to be able to buddy box with Tim’s Habu. It loves to glide and does seem to be a good introduction to the EDF world. Great flight Tim! Good choice! And really no issues with the longer grass either….!

The fog was hanging around the MacDonald bridge and actually made the conditions quite cool. Hopefully tomorrow will be even better!

Sunday.... Sunday.... what a day! Good turnout. A bit of a cross-breeze but all in all very fun flying. Tim had his Habu up for two more flights... amazing slow flight performance from that plane. Lots of variety with quads, discus gliders, warbirds, EDFs, and 3D planes. Some great flying from Aiden on his home-built planes too.

All in all... who could ask for anything more?!?

Brian, Rick and pilots all.
Carolyn and I had great fun with the training flights. It was a great pleasure being so warmingly accepted at HEFA. Well I caught a bug. Dang bugs. New E-Flite Trainer in transport to Mighty Small Cars. Big thanks to Geoff for placing the order on Sunday for us.

Feeling sky High. :-)

Welcome to the hobby! You won’t regret the Apprentice RTF or buying through Mighty Small Cars…!
