Perfect morning for flying. I wasn't sure as it was -16 when I left the house, but only -6 at the field. Light wind and soft snow for landings. I was surprised that no one else was there when I arrived at 9. Chris Dean stopped by to say hi, but not fly. Rick arrived as I was leaving, but the winds were picking up, so I don't know if he got a heli flight in. Tomorrow looks good if the rain holds off, see what the morning brings. I'll charge some batteries just in case.

Would have liked to be there but forecast predicted stronger than resultant wind. I had already arranged a Radiomaster programming session with Brian Richards which proved quite successful. I am finding after many hours that I am finally getting the hang of Open TX, although relying very much on the tutorials. I got two Dualsky motors (tiny and powerful) from Aloft and some Bluebird 125WV servos from Hyperflight in the UK. Both deliveries were about one week, most of time occurring after arriving in Canada. Both sources are fantastic even getting a KitKat bar from Aloft.
Hoping to ignore forecasts for tomorrow and get out flying.

Well... conditions were pretty good until maybe 9:20am or so. Then the snow started to fall. Gently at first and then with a little more momentum.

Just a few of us at SP this morning.
