Weekend - March 20/21, 2021
The first day of spring is upon us!! And what could be better than enjoying a morning of flying at SP! The (hopefully) last time to be flying off of floats this season! The morning was cool - in the -8°C range to start - but it with very light winds it was quite comfortable... and it wasn't long until the snow was melting. Great morning. Just a few members out to enjoy the morning.
Tomorrow is looking even better....! Get those batteries charged up. Don't forget to log your participation at the field as part of our COVID Return to Flying plan for traceability. See you then!

What a morning at SP on this first full day of Spring! Great turnout. Lots of facemasks. Lots of social distancing. Thanks to those that recorded their presence as required per our COVID-19 Return to Flying document.

Although my time there was cut short, it was an enjoyable morning. Looking forward to many more

Can I have Tim's last name Brian? I'd like to give him photo credit in the newsletter. Thanks!

Thanks Tim. This resolution will be fine as they'll be downsized some for the newsletter. I sure appreciate your posting them!

No problem. Actually, it was Brian who posted them on my behalf. Next time, I'll try posting them myself. Is it also possible to post short videos?

Tim - Rick has done a great job in bringing the HEFA forum to the next level roughly a year ago. But there are a few limitations from the host provider including picture filesize.
If you look at the attachment window, the acceptable file extensions include GIF, PNG, JPEG, JPG, TIF, TIFF, TGA, GTAR, GZ, TAR, ZIP, PDF, etc. I’d recommend adding it to your own VIMEO or YOUTUBE channel. Also - and we’ve done it many times in the past - just link the file to us at HalifaxElectricFlyers@outlook.com and we can add it to the Facebook account for sharing.
Lots of options!!
