The winds are looking quite favourable for Saturday but no so great for Sunday. But even with low wind, the effective wind chill will be tough.
I like the forecast on Windfinder:
I've missed a lot of great flying days due to WeatherNetwork which is really pushing the envelope for windchill. Brr.
Hopefully see a few people at SP on Saturday. Dress warm. And don't forget to document your participation.

I am planning to be there barring any emergencies.
It's all about the long-johns and fingerless gloves, folks!

We have been very fortunate in the past month, getting at least one flyable day per weekend. Saturday will be a bit chilly in the -5 degC range, but with very light winds, which are the most important determinant in being able to fly in comfort. The turnout in the past few weeks has been a very strong factor in maintaining a happy flying situation with everyone maintaining safe distancing and respecting all the other flyers.

Well said John! And you too Josh... it is also amazing how well heated sweaters work to keep you toasty warm.... and snow pants.... once cold you can be in trouble.
I'm charging a few batteries now....... hope to see a few people brave the elements.

BEST DAY OF WINTER FLYING YET!
Cool morning. Woke up to -12°C but was warmed to -8°C when I arrived at SP at 9am. No wind. Fresh soft snow. GREAT conditions. Only a handful of people but truly perfect conditions and a lot of fun. Be sure to try winter flying - it can be a great experience on the right day!!

Shoot, I left too soon to get in the picture. Oh well, it was a great day and lots of fun landing on floats on snow.
