Sunday, (papa day) Jun 21/20 ...?

Unread post by retiredVTT » Sat Jun 20, 2020 3:20 pm

I'm thinking it's about time to get back on the horse(power)..electric that is..! Weather is to be somewhat cooler than we have had this week.

Got some new items to maiden left over from winter builds. I'd like to pay my "dues" as well. Coffee and Timbits on me..!

Anyone else going to SP on Sunday morning..?

Good fun today at SP! Lots of familiar faces and some great flying on this HOT HOT HOT day!!

Managed to capture just a few clips. Missed out on the majority of the flying.... and the flight line was mostly packed!

We were gone by 11am as it was hot.... what a difference by 8pm tonight... The "fever" has broken!

Great to see a healthy return of flyers to Shannon as things are eased up. It looks like people have been busy bring their flying fleet into good shape.
Here's a sample of this weekend's models. Remember, we still have to maintain 2 metres spacing, but models do not.

Hey John! Nice pics! Thanks for sharing....!

Definitely cooler today. I had my Phantom up for the first time in a while and was able to capture from video from Mark's Twin Otter.

There was an indication from FB that the audio track is copyright but my understanding is that it is clear...!

A W E S O M E ! Wow what a beautiful camera on that drone! If you didn't know it was scale rc plane, looks almost like a vacation package advertisement. :D
