December 4 & 5th Weekend

Unread post by Road507 » Mon Dec 05, 2022 9:25 am

It was a lonely weekend at the field this weekend! I went both days and although the wind was a little high the temperature was great. The winds were a little lighter on Sunday however there was some standing water on the field after all the rain Saturday evening so you had to pick your spots to land. The Timber X just loves the wind!

Thanks to Chris and Tom coming out to watch for a little bit on Saturday.

Wow! The winds were supposed to be so high on Saturday that I thought for sure that it would be a no-go. I believe that several people went to the indoor at SW which offered low winds and warmer temperatures :-). For me, Saturday morning was changing of tires and getting ready for another trip to a curling rink - lol!

Sunday looked like light winds but cool.. or dare I say even cold? On the road for 7:25am for the rink.

Good for you for getting out. Always a fun time!
