Bi- plane origin

Unread post by Duster » Thu Dec 27, 2018 9:30 pm

HI, all, hope Santa was around to you all, and I have something that hopefully someone may be able to help me with, I just picked up an old bi plane, from the way its built, it was a kit, it had a glow .25 engine, as my .25 ,GMS 1000 fits the mount perfectly, the main wing is 60 inch, and the lower is 44 inchs ,the fuse is 43 inchs, the covering is glued on, and painted, ive repainted it with the original colors, except for the aluminum wing struts i designed myself, when the elastic bands are mounted to the wings, the struts merely plug into openings in the wings, pressure from the elastics hold them tight.ive done it over electric with the option of remounting the glow engine and tank at any time, anyways, ill put a few pics of it here incase one of you may have come across one like this , years ago, thanks, ken
