Hey Kevin... any final decisions? I did receive my new roll of PLA from Amazon but have not opened it yet as my other roll still has some left.

I've had a roll of TPU for the past year that I finally opened this morning. Wow. What material! So flexible! I have made a bunch of XT60 caps from this design on Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2510964. Started with individual prints. Now printing 9 at once.

Now to find out what else might be fun....!

To get me started I ordered a dual roll (black and white) of PLA (Overture) from Amazon but will be checking out our local guy in lower Sackville very soon. My Printer is coming via Purolator and is on the truck this morning going to be delivered today. Can't wait !!!!

The Amazon order was to have been here Friday but is coming via Canada Post so should be here next month. Damn Canada Post is super slow lately.

Apparently Purolater is no better as I received an email about 5:30 last night saying the printer was delayed due to covid pandemic. IT WAS ON THE TRUCK WTF!! Apparently it is on the truck again this morning and it is now after 12 we'll see if it arrives today.

I have purchased a number of spools from these guys in Sackville. Good product, good price and you are supporting local.

Well the printer arrived mid afternoon yesterday and after an hour assembling and setting it up, I have it calibrated and have mastered the basics of 3D printing. My first order of business was to print parts and pieces for a filament dryer box to permanently store my filament in and be able to dispense directly from the box. The starter roll of white PLA that came with the printer didn't have the temp settings for nozzle and bed so I had to experiment to get it running correctly. I now just need to wait for filament and the watertight box to arrive, I ordered them last week online.

I have been following along in this thread and have a question for you budding printers....

In this link ; https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1650704/files you will see a picture of a 3D printed "intake" for the 70mm Super Scorpion from FMS.

How does one download the files for this? I also see the note that reminds that you have to make a "mirror image " of this for the opposite side of the model.
If someone can get the files, I would be a customer for a set of these.

Hey Bill
I can give it a go. Could you check the width etc to confirm correct printed size?
I have black, blue gray, green, and some medium gray, and some white.
