I flew my scratch-built DH-2 foamy on Saturday morning off of Porters Lake. I'm happy to report that she flies great.
She really needs a pilot, but other than that it looked great in the air and would slow down to a crawl - all that drag I guess! I plan to fly it indoors at the Valley Gathering in a few weeks.
I also flew my foamy Junkers D-1 with a new enlarged rudder.
The original rudder was evidently too small, although it was already larger than scale, and it resulted in the aircraft exhibiting serious adverse yaw in the turns. It now flies and turns very well.

Fantastic model. Great paint scheme on the Junkers.
