DOUBLE X from DW Foamies

This is the 2nd Double X I've built...hope I enjoy it a bit more than the first one. It's a Depron kit discontinued by DW Foamies. My first one was heavy with paint although I don't recall the weight now. Seems any posts I had of it must of been on our previous site.

Anyway, no paint this time, just marking pen using a plastic set of "french curves" in order to tell which side is up.

I did forget the weight factor by adding basswood to each side at the front end so who knows, one may offset the other, and this one may weigh the same.

Also got a hefty outrunner turning a 13" prop on 3S for lots of torque.

Of course we have 4S packs in standby mode, "should they be deemed necessary..!"
