There was a scratch built contest announced on WattFlyer a couple of weeks ago and at the time I was thinking of making a delta a bit bigger than the SuperFly. So I dropped by Home Depot and came home with a 2' x 8' sheet of 1/2" pink foam and started cutting. Not a bad way to spend a wet and windy Saturday...
I finally finished it last Saturday night and had it out at Shannon yesterday. I am very pleased with it considering the foam only costs $6.19 a sheet!
Here is my "build thread" on WattFlyer:

See the last post for a link to the flight video...

Nice job Rick, on the build and the thread. I gotta build one of these after seeing yours fly.
Maybe we can get a third person to build one..so when they ask what we did on the weekend...we can say,
"We went flying ...Yada, Yada, Yada....!"

Re: YADA - Yet Another Delta Airplane
I think that Chris has one on the go now at least I know he picked up the foam yesterday. He's going to try thrust vectoring on the motor mount. So it could be YADA, YADA, YADA for Thanksgiving! lol
