This Cap 232 has been on the shelf for at least four years.....it's now ready to maiden..!
The table it sits on is 50 inches long, the prop is a 16/10 and a 6S pack is producing 770 watts.
I'd like to maiden it and then sell it.....hopefully the former will allow the later to occur...!
To say I'm nervous with this one is putting it mildly, but since we are meeting at Shearwater at 9am Saturday, I'll bring it along.

Well, the maiden did not occur due to "PLAY ON" being held all weekend at Shearwater, however the sale of the Cap may be in the works..!

Ugh..! Ugly maiden....much damage to wing, etc.
Wish I had a replay....but looks like a combination of stall and over-correcting due to excessive aileron throw that I thought I could manage ..in simpler terms, IFU...which is an acronym for "pilot error"..! I always say this is a humbling hobby, and all models have an expiry date..!

She probably can be repaired Brian, and I'm slowly coming around to the idea of doing so....at first I just wanted to part with it. The first place to start would be the wing, strip the covering, make up a couple ribs, try fitting it together. It may be a Fall project.
