Looks like one of those Toyota Things
Came very near to buying a Toyota last week until I found out about the accelerator crap

Ah john...I'm on my third Toyota with nary a problem - never any sign of a stuck throttle. Most of the hype is the American government trying to get their investment in GM and Chrylser protected......my approach is - if the throttle sticks thats what the shift lever is for....neutral!!

I absolutely agree with your assessment!!! I owned a Tercel for 10 years and sold it to a friend 4 years ago... every part accept the rotors, pads, and timing belt are original... yes, even the "exhaust system". I wish I had kept it now!!!
