Here is a Video of a free flight power model in flight.
No radio, or means of controlling it after launch. All adjustments must be made before flight to ensure stable flight. This means that the flier has to have a deep knowledge of aerodynamics and adjustment of each control surface to within a couple of thou.. The model shown is a glow powered model which climbs to about 500 ft in 10 seconds. It has to be trimmed for high speed stable spiral climb, transitioning to a circular slow speed circling glide for maximum duration. This is similar to my E36 Blizzard model.
