Korean T-50

Unread post by Rob » Sat Sep 20, 2014 4:31 pm

Was going to try to maiden this at shearwater this morning but blowing pretty hard this am.

The T-50 is from Find Hobby, http://www.f-hobby.com/
I bought the kit version as I had lots of servos, escs, and spare 70mm fan units.
The kit comes with scale metal retracts and electrically opening canopy and a 70mm fan (no motor). EPO foam.

I put added:
70mm fan, metal 9g servos, 40/50 Optic ESC and separate 5A BEC.

Went together really easy but good thing I had a fan unit as the fan that came with it was quite out of round. Also, I had to find the CG from a forum online as the directions did not include the CG.
Hope to get it in the air soon.

Looks good.
Looks like a F16 rear fuselage and F18 front end.

Thanks,
and yeah, does kind of look like that combo. Has a slight anhedral on the elevator like an old F4 but not as pronounced. Not sure what that will do it's flying charactistics.
