I had the pleasure to maiden an Eflite Alpha trainer this morning for a prospective new member, "Chris".
He did an excellent installation of the electronics, all control surfaces moved in the correct directions, so we loaded in the lipo pack and within minutes it was airborne.
This is is nice size balsa ARF, very colorfull in red, white and blue, good power with a 450 size motor, has a steerable nosewheel and has a flat bottom, high wing, equipped with ailerons. All in all a very nice light weight trainer. Two thumbs up..!

VERY NICE first plane and a sensible aircraft to start with.
At first I thought it was Bill's and that he was starting from scratch again after burying the front end of his last aircraft right up to the wings in the soft ground after a midair w a small cub
