My Multiplex Fun Cub with recommended powerpack arrived today from Great Hobbies - undamaged
I must say, as a former nitro guy, there's something unnatural with a 55 inch wingspan aircraft that weighs less than a nitro engine by itself.
Not sure aircraft will be ready this weekend (looks like strong winds again) but hopefully I'll have plane up and ready by following weekend.
While I've built several kits before, this is my first electric and first foamie. Intent is to get an instructor take it up for its first flight. I'll ensure it meets advertised CG

Re: Fun Cub
Here it is - the Multiplex Fun Cub. Last time I saw so much foam - I was unpacking my big screen TV.
I added some colour to it since default is the foam itself w stickers on it. I used acrylic tape and not a bad job on straight sides but hard to do corners with. Good enough to go fly in though
I just hope we won't have to maiden it with skis

Re: Fun Cub
OMG that is some crazy throw on the flaps (dragerons?)
The super-cub style wheels will be great on grass and might be better than skis on snow.
